Menu Bar

From the Deatiled Information menu bar, users can create the renaming batch file, create the undo batch file, execute the find command, or change views to the option or main windows.

Create Renaming Batch File Command

This command is used to create a batch file filled with renaming commands corresponding to the currently displayed list. The results of the file creation will be shown in the detailed information window Status Bar and the main window Summary Panel. A confirmation dialog will also appear to confirm the result of the creation. If you used the regex 'BUILD PATH' flag to rename files, then the batch file will not work for this renaming. The reason is that the Windows command line interface does not support recursive folder creation.

Create Undo Batch File Command

This command is used to create a batch file filled with renaming commands to undo the results of the previous renaming. The results of the file creation will be shown in the detailed information window Status Bar and the main window Summary Panel. A confirmation dialog will also appear to confirm the result of the creation. If you used the regex 'BUILD PATH' flag to rename files, then the batch file will not work for this renaming. The reason is that the Windows command line interface does not support recursive folder creation.

Export List to a CSV File

This command is used to create a Comman Separated Value file containing the information in the preview list. The results of the file creation will be shown in the detailed information window Status Bar and the main window Summary Panel. A confirmation dialog will also appear to confirm the result of the creation.

Find Command

This command is used to search for text in the detailed information panel. When the selected text is found, the row containing the text is highlighted. The results of the find will be shown in the detailed information window Status Bar. Among other things, this command makes it convenient to search for errors or warnings in large lists.

View Main Window Command

This command is used to raise the Main Window.

View Option Window Command

This command is used to raise the Option Window.

Detailed Info Row Commands Command

This command is used to display the same popup menu that is displayed when right clicking on the list. Commands available in the popup menu are:

Cancel Edit in Selected Rows. Using this option will cancel any manual edits that were done in the selected rows.
Delete Selected Rows. Using this option will delete all selected rows.
Various Positioning Options. Options are available for moving selected rows up, down, to the top of the list, or to the bottom of the list. There is also an option to randomly organize the rows..
Open 'Old Name' in Selected Row using Default Application. Using this option will open the selected file.
Set All Column Widths to Default. Using this option will reset the column widths to their default widths.
Show Hex Codes for 'Old and New Names' of Selected Row. Using this option will display the hex values of all characters for the old and new names.
Update Comment Field in Tag of Selected Rows. Using this option will allow you to add/replace the comment of a file if it has a tag with a comment field. This only applies to EXIF and MP3 tags. More information is available in the dialog box that appears when you select this option.
